List of Ingredients
For a cake weighing about 820 g :
- 125 g (5 oz) sugar
- 250 g (1/2 lb)flour
- 1/2 sachet of baking powder
- 125 g (5 oz) melted butter
- 3 eggs
- 2 pinches of salt
- 5 tablespoonfuls of rum
- 65 g (2 1/2 oz)raisins
- 65 g (2 1/2 oz) crystallised fruitRecipe
Soak the raisins in the rum.
Put the sugar, butter and salt in the mixer jug equipped with the kneading accessory and mix for 15 seconds.
Add the eggs, flour, baking powder and rum used to soak the raisins through the funnel of the lid and mix for a further 30 seconds.
Add the crystallised fruit and raisins first rolled in flour to the mix.
Bake for 1 hour at 200° C
