Coco-Cocoa Coffee Cake

1/3 cup coconut
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
2 cups packaged biscuit mix
1/4 cup milk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a small bowl mix coconut, brown sugar, and cocoa powder; set aside.
In a medium bowl combine granulated sugar, butter or margarine, and vanilla; beat until mixed. Add egg; beat until combined. Alternately add biscuit mix and milk to egg mixture, beating just until combined.
Spoon about half of the batter into a greased 8x8x2-inch baking pan. Top with coconut mixture. Spoon remaining batter on top. With a narrow spatula, swirl to marble.
Bake about 30 minutes or until done. Cool slightly in pan. Sift powdered sugar over top. Serve warm or cool
