    Elegant Citrus Cake

    List of Ingredients




    4 large eggs
    1 package (2-layer size) butter cake mix
    1 package (3 3/4 ounces) lemon instant pudding
    3/4 cup water
    1/2 cup oil
    2 cups confectioners' sugar
    1/3 cup orange juice
    2 tablespoons grated orange peel
    fresh orange slices, halved

    Recipe



    Beat eggs; add cake mix, pudding mix, water, and oil. Beat with hand held electric mixer for 10 minutes. Pour batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan or bundt cake pan. BAke at 350° for 50 minutes.

    Cool completely in pan.
    Combine in a saucepan the confectioners' sugar and orange juice; bring to a boil. Stir in orange peel. Cool.

    Remove cooled cake from pan; drizzle glaze over cake. Garnish cake with halved orange slices, if desired.
