Magic Disappearing Chocolate Cake

List of Ingredients
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
CHOCOLATE SAUCE (recipe follows)
1/2 cup milk
Recipe
Heat oven to 350°F. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly on bottom of pie crust. In small bowl, beat sugar and shortening until blended; add milk and vanilla, beating until smooth. Stir together flour and baking powder; gradually beat into sugar mixture just until blended. Spread over chocolate chips in pie crust. Prepare CHOCOLATE SAUCE; pour gently over top of batter. DO NOT STIR. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in cake portion comes out clean. Cool completely in pie plate on wire rack; serve cut in wedges. 6 to 8 servings.
CHOCOLATE SAUCE: In small microwave-safe bowl, place 1/2 cup water. Microwave at HIGH (100%) 1 to 1-1/2 minutes or until boiling. Stir in 2/3 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons HERSHEY'S Cocoa or HERSHEY'S SPECIAL DARK Cocoa. Microwave at HIGH 1 minute or until mixture is smooth when stirred; stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
