Reduced Fat Apple Cake

List of Ingredients
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 1/3 cup sugar
2 egg whites
1 egg
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
3 peeled, cored, and chopped cup Golden Delicious apple
1 cup walnuts, toasted, chopped
Recipe
1. Combine oil, applesauce and sugar.
2. Add eggs and egg whites.
3. Fold in all ingredients except apples and walnuts.
4. Fold in apples and walnuts.
5. Pour into greased and floured 10" tube pan.
6. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours
