750 ml (3 c.) semolina

250 ml (1 c.) flour

30 ml (2 tbsp.) turmeric

250 ml (1 c.) vegetable oil

560 ml (2 ¼ c.) sugar

500 ml (2 c.) milk

15 ml (3 tsp.) baking powder

125 ml (1/2 c.) pine nuts

60 ml (1/4 c.) tahini (sesame paste) Recipe
Combine the semolina, flour, turmeric and baking powder.
Dissolve the sugar in the milk. Add the milk and sugar, along with the vegetable oil, to the dry ingredients.
Spread the tahini over the bottom and sides of a 40 cm (9 x 13") pyrex or aluminum cake pan.
Pour the batter slowly into the pan. Sprinkle the pine nuts on top.
Place into a preheated 180° C (350° F) oven and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool. Cut into squares and serve
