    1/2 pound vanilla-flavored confectioner¿s coating, cut up
    1 6-ounce package (1 cup) semisweet chocolate pieces
    2 cups peanuts

    Recipe



    1. Place the vanilla-flavored confectioner¿s coating and the chocolate pieces in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microcook, uncovered, in a microwave oven on 100 percent power (HIGH) about 2 to 3 minutes or just until the mixture becomes smooth when stirred. Stir in the peanuts.
    2. Drop peanut mixture from a teaspoon onto a baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Chill about 30 minutes or until firm. Store tightly covered in refrigerator. Makes about 36 pieces.
    Microwave Butterscotch Peanut Clusters: Prepare Microwave Peanut Clusters as directed above, except substitute 1/2 pound cut-up butterscotch-flavored confectioner¿s coating for the vanilla-flavored confectioner¿s coating.
    B>Make-Ahead Tip: Up to 1 week ahead prepare clusters. Store in the refrigerator in a tightly covered container.
