    List of Ingredients




    2 (7-ounce) packages flaked coconut(5 1/3 cups)
    1 (14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAND®® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
    2/3 cups unsweetened cocoa
    1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine or butter, melted
    2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    1 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
    Semi-sweet chocolate baking chips or candied cherry pieces, if desired

    Preheat oven to 350°. Line cookie sheets with aluminum foil; generously grease foil with solid vegetable shortening. Combine coconut, EAGLE BRAND®, cocoa, melted margarine, vanilla and almond extract in large bowl; mix well. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or just until set; press 3 baking chips or candied cherry pieces in center (cut cherry pieces into slices) if desired. Immediately remove cookies from foil to wire rack; cool completely. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
    Chocolate Chip Clusters: Omit melted margarine and cocoa; stir together ingredients. Add 1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips; proceed as above.
