M&M'S Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies

The combination of chocolate and marshmallow give these cookies delightful flavor and texture. No one can resist them!




List of Ingredients




1 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup M&M'S® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits
1/2 cup marshmallows


Recipe



Cream together 1 cup sugar and 1 cup shortening. Add 1 egg to mixture and stir to blend.
Sift together 1 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 cup cocoa. Stir into the batter.
Add 1 tsp. vanilla, 2/3 cup milk and 2/3 cup M&M'S® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits. Stir until mixed and evenly distributed.
Drop cookies by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 8 minutes. Top each cookie with a marshmallow. Bake 3 minutes longer and cool.


Mix below ingredients together for frosting. When cookies are cool, frost and then sprinkle with M&M'S® Chocolate Mini Baking Bits.
3/4 cup soft butter
3 tbsp. of water
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
Makes 24 cookies.
