Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

1 1/2 cups quick cooking rolled oats
1 cup flour
1/2 cup golden seedless raisins
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
6 tablespoons crunchy peanut butter
1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extractRecipe
Preheat oven to 350°. Lightly grease cookie sheets. In a large mixing bowl, stir together oats, flour, raisins, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. In another mixing bowl, beat together the butter, peanut butter, and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg, water, and vanilla. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture, stirring until thoroughly mixed. Drop by rounded teaspoonsful about 2" apart on the prepared cookie sheets. Bake until golden brown, about 12 minutes.
