The Ultimate Nutty Cookie

List of Ingredients
6 Nutrageous candy bars (1.8 oz each)
3 Butterfinger candy bars (2.1 oz each)
2 sticks (1 cup) butter, softened
1 cup packed light-brown sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups honey-roasted peanuts and cashews
Recipe
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Have baking sheet(s) ready.
2. Cut 3 Nutrageous bars and the Butterfinger bars into 1/3-in. chunks (Butterfingers will shatter; that's OK). Set aside.
3. Beat butter, brown sugar, peanut butter, granulated sugar and vanilla in a large bowl with mixer on medium speed 1 to 2 minutes until fluffy. Beat in eggs and baking soda until combined. On low speed beat in flour just until blended. Stir in cut-up candy bars and the nuts. Drop rounded measuring tablespoons dough about 2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets. Thinly slice remaining Nutrageous bars; place a slice on each cookie.
4. Bake 9 to 11 minutes until edges are golden-brown. Cool on sheet 2 minutes before removing cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
