Brownie Berry Sundae

3/4 cup butter
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray pan with non-stick spray. In a small heavy sauce pan or microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate and butter together on low heat, stir until blended. In a mixing bowl add chocolate mixture to sugar, mix. Add slightly beaten eggs. Blend. Toss salt and flour together in a separate bowl. Add flour, nuts and vanilla to mixture, stir until all flour is mixed in. Pour into prepared pans. Bake 20 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes, remove from pans.
YIELD: Make 6 stars.
When cool top with ice cream and your favorite berries.
Strawberry and Blueberry Topping
Ingredients:
1 pint each strawberries and blueberries
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
At least 3 hours before serving, clean and slice berries, wash blueberries and strawberries place in separate bowls. Sprinkle with sugar and refrigerate. Just before serving, combine berries and if desired add a splash of your favorite liqueur.
