    4 cups cubed apples
    2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1/2 cup plus 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
    2 cups plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tbsp. butter, cut into small pieces
    1/2 cup half and half cream



    Recipe



    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Use one 9x13" pan or two deep pie pans.

    2. FILLING: Place apples in a bowl, mix in lemon juice, 1/2 cup sugar and 2 tablespoons flour. Set aside.

    3. TOPPING: In a food processor or blender, mix 2 cups flour, salt, baking powder, 2 tablespoons sugar and butter until mixture is crumbly.

    4. Slowly process in the cream until the dough comes together.

    5. Fill pans 3/4 full with apple mixture.

    6. Add dough in clumps, or roll and cut into shapes and place on top of apple mixture.

    7. Sprinkle with remaining sugar.

    8. Bake for 20 minutes in a 4000F oven or until golden brown and bubbly. Enjoy
