List of Ingredients
1 gallon canola oil
1/2 pound sliced calamari
1/2 pound bay scallops
1/2 pound clean shrimp
1 pound julienne zucchini (skin only)
1 pound julienne yellow squash (skin only)
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1/2 pound all purpose flour
1/2 pound semolina
1 ounce powdered onion
1 ounce powdered garlic
2 ounce paprika
3 lemons cut in half
salt and pepper
Recipe
To prepare:
In a pot, heat oil to a temperature of 400°F. Keep oil hot until ready to deep fry seafood and vegetables.
Mix all purpose flour, semolina, ground onion and paprika. Add salt and pepper to taste.
When ready, toss seafood and vegetables in flour mixture until completely coated and deep fry until golden brown.
Place on serving platter, sprinkle with fresh parsley and season with salt to taste.
Garnish with 3 lemons cut in half and serve with 1 pint of spicy tomato sauce.
