Yang's Ribbon Fish

List of Ingredients
1 whole ribbon fish (clean and cut into 1.5 inch long pieces )
* 1.5 cup flour
* 1 cup veg. oil
* 1 cup soy sauce
* 1.5 cup cooking wine
* 4 tsp sugar
* 1/2 tsp ginger powder
* 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
* 1/2 tsp aniseed powder
Recipe
1. Mixing everything above except the fish, the oil and the flour. Boil the mixture for few seconds and put them aside till it's cold.
2. Cover each piece of the fish with the flour.
3. Heat the veg. oil to medium high and fried the fish piece by piece till the fish become yellow.
4. Put the fish into the bowl with the mixed sauce in it for about 1 hour.
