Easy Penne Pomodoro with Broccoli

List of Ingredients
1 lb Penne pasta
4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
2 Tb canola or olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
4 cups diced tomatoes
2 cups chopped broccoli, steamed
2 Tb chopped Fresh basil (1 Tb dried basil flakes)
2 cloves Minced garlic

Boil pasta in broth to al dente. While pasta is cooking saut� onion and garlic in olive oil until onions become translucent. Add tomatoes and stir until tomatoes begin to breakdown. Add basil and 1/2 cup broth to tomato mixture and continue to saut�. Drain pasta when al dente but do not rinse. Add tomato mixture and steamed broccoli to pasta and toss. Serve immediately, sprinkled with parmesan cheese. Serves 4.
