Penne carbonara with zucchini

454 gm uncooked whole wheat pasta
5 slices crisp cooked bacon
1 cup zucchini
4 clove garlic clove(s)
2 large egg(s)
1 cup fat-free evaporated milk
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Recipe
Cook pasta according to package directions.
While pasta is cooking, chop bacon into very fine pieces and cook in saucepan. Drain bacon onto a plate covered with paper towel. Cut zucchini into 1 inch julienne and slice garlic. Wipe saucepan of bacon fat and cook zucchini and garlic until desired doneness.
In a bowl, whisk together evaporated milk and eggs.
Once pasta is done, drain and put back in pot. Add cooked zucchini, garlic & bacon. Pour milk/egg mixture over pasta, add cheese and stir well over low heat until a creamy sauce is formed. Salt & pepper to taste.
