    List of Ingredients




    1 lb rotelle
    (spirals or twists)
    2 large, mild onions, peeled and cut in quarters
    1 1/2 Tbsp flour
    1 can (14.5 oz) roasted-garlic seasoned chicken broth
    1 pt grape tomatoes
    4 oz goat cheese or feta cheese, crumbled

    Garnish:
    Thinly sliced scallions

    Recipe



    1. Cook pasta.

    2. Meanwhile place a large, deep nonstick skillet over high heat. Fit food processor with slicing disc; slice the onions.

    3. Add onions to skillet, cover and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 to 6 minutes until slightly browned and any onion juices have evaporated.

    4. Meanwhile whisk flour into broth until blended. Slice tomatoes in half; set aside. 5. Stir broth into onions, bring to a simmer, cover and cook 5 minutes or until onions are soft and sauce has thickened.

    6. Drain pasta, return to pot and add onion mixture and remaining ingredients. Toss to mix; garnish with scallions.
