List of Ingredients
150 g (0,33 lb) spaghetti
2 teaspoonfuls of oil
1 teaspoon salt
1,5 litres cold water
50 g (0,11 lb) butter
Recipe
Place the water, salt and oil in the bowl. Switch on and bring the water to the boil (this takes about 20 minutes). Add the spaghetti, stir and allow to cook for 10 - 15 minutes or until it is tender. Manually turn off.
Drain off the water. Add the butter and serve immediately with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese.
Note: instead of cold water using boiling water from a kettle is faster. If using “quick cook” type spaghetti the cooking time will be about 5 -8 minutes. The “keep warm” function is not recommended for this recipe
