Use red pears in this sweet, smooth, crunchy salad for an especially bright presentation
List of Ingredients
1 bunch arugula, torn
1 head romaine lettuce, torn
3 medium pear(s), cored and thinly sliced
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup blue cheese
1 medium garlic clove(s), minced
1/4 tsp black pepper, ground
3/4 oz chopped walnuts, about 3 tbsp, toasted
Recipe
Divide arugula and romaine among plates. Arrange pears on greens.
Combine buttermilk, cheese, garlic and pepper. Toss salad in dressing. Sprinkle with walnuts and serve.
