    List of Ingredients




    2 cups (500 mL) brown sugar

    1 cup (250 mL) light corn syrup

    ½ cup (125 mL) butter

    1 can (300 mL) Regular or Low Fat Eagle Brand®

    8 quarts popcorn

    1 ½ cups (375 mL) unsalted shelled peanuts [optional]

    Recipe



    1. Combine brown sugar, corn syrup and butter. Bring to a boil on medium high heat.
    2. Add Eagle Brand, stirring continuously until it boils. Cook 5-10 minutes for caramel, scraping down sides intermittently, or cook to soft ball stage for more caramel taste and thicker caramel.
    3. Pour caramel coating over popcorn in a large bowl, and toss quickly to coat. Add peanuts and toss again, if using. Cool. Chill if desired.
