2 cups (500 mL) multibran cereal flakes
1 cup (250 mL) dried cherries or cranberries
1 cup (250 mL) whole almonds; 1 cup (250 mL) banana chips;
1 cup (250 mL) toasted-oat cereal squares
1 cup (250 mL) puffed-rice cereal
1 cup (250 mL) dried cantaloupe or pineapple bits

ADD-INS:
2 cups (500 mL) mini-pretzels
2 cups (500 mL) cornflakes
2 cups (500 mL) yogurt-covered raisins
2 cups (500 mL) small fish-shaped crackers
Beer Buddy Trail Mix
ADD-INS:
2 cups (500 mL) crumbled wheat crackers (such as Triscuit)
2 cups (500 mL) unsalted cashews
2 cups (500 mL) corn nuts
2 cups (500 mL) pretzel sticks;
1 tbsp (15 mL) dried Cajun spice
Movie Night Trail Mix
ADD-INS:
3 cups (750 mL) unsalted popcorn
2 cups (500 mL) pretzel sticks
2 cups (500 mL) raisins
1 cup (250 mL) salted peanuts
Hiker's Happy Trail Mix
ADD-INS:
2 cups (500 mL) raisins
1-1/2 cups (375 mL) banana chips; 1-1/2 cups (375 mL) multibran cereal flakes
1 cup (250 mL) shredded sweetened coconut
1 cup (250 mL) chocolate chips
1 cup (250 mL) pecan halves
Makes about 15 cups (3.75 L).

Instructions:
In large bowl, gently toss together 4 cups (1 L) toasted-oat cereal rounds, 4 cups (1 L) wheat cereal squares and ADD-INS (below). Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 month.
