    Chick pea and pasta soup

    List of Ingredients




    1 can of chick peas(drained)
    2 cloves garlic(minced)
    2 medium onions(diced)
    2 large tomatoes(diced)
    1 1/2 cup small shell pasta
    1 tblsp olive oil
    2 tblsp tomatoe paste
    6 cups vegetable broth (I use McCormicks cubes but any will do)
    2 tsp basil
    1 tsp rosemary(optional)

    Recipe



    In large soup pot sautee onion and garlic(about 5 min) then add in tomatoes and tomatoe paste. Cook a few minutes then add in vegetable broth, chick peas and pasta and spices. Turn up heat a bit and cook for about 10 minutes until pasta is cooked. Then remove 2 cups of soup and but in blender or use a hand help braun and blend it up. Throw back in soup(this thickens it).
