List of Ingredients
500g (1 lb) cod fillet
- 1 tsp salt
- few twists freshly ground pepper
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 600 ml (1 pint) water
- 125 ml (4 1/2 fl oz) dry sherry
- 1 tbs root ginger, grated
- 1 tbs light soy sauce
- 1 chili bean sauce
- 2 tbs cooked rice
- 3-4 large shelled prawnsRecipe
Cut fish into 2,5cm squares, mix with salt and pepper and sesame oil.
Put water and sherry into a deep frypan and cover with lid and set heat at high
When the liquid is boiling, after 2-3 minutes, add ginger, soy sauce, chili bean sauce and fish.
Cover the pan and reduce heat to medium. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add the rice and prawns, cook for 1 minute
