    2 celery stalks – chopped
    1 large onion – chopped
    1 green pepper – chopped
    1 red pepper – chopped
    ½ medium sweet potato
    3 carrots – sliced
    3 tbsp olive oil
    1 can tomato sauce – 16 to 24 oz (optional)
    1 can chopped tomatoes
    1 can whole tomatoes
    1 can tomato paste
    2 cans red kidney beans
    1 to 1 ¼ cup ketchup (approximate)
    2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    1 tbsp garlic powder (or to taste)
    2 tbsp ground cumin
    1 tbsp chili powder
    1 to 2 cups dry red wine (approximate)
    2 vegetable bouillon cubes, crumbled
    1 tbsp sugar

    Recipe



    1. Chop all vegetables. Heat oil in a large
    pan and cook vegetables until softened –
    about 10 minutes.
    2. Add all other ingredients except kidney
    beans to pot. Bring to a boil. Lower heat
    and simmer (covered) for 30 minutes,
    stirring regularly.
    3. Add kidney beans and simmer for another
    15 minutes.
