    2/3 cup finely crushed herb-seasoned stuffing mix
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/4 teaspoon paprika
    1 frying chicken (2-1/2 to 3 pounds) cut up or chicken pieces
    1/2 cup CRISCO Shortening

    Recipe



    Combine stuffing mix, salt, pepper and paprika on waxed paper.
    Moisten chicken with water. Coat with crumbs.
    Heat Crisco to 365ºF in electric skillet or on medium-high in large heavy skillet. Fry chicken. Turn once for even browning.
    Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook chicken for 30 minutes or until tender. Turn once for even browning. Drain on paper towels.
