    Layered Mexican Dip

    Enough to layer in a 9x13” pan. Use half for 9” pie pan.

    In a bowl, mix:
    2 cans of refried beans
    ½ package of taco mix seasoning

    In another bowl, mix:
    16 oz. sour cream
    ½ package of taco mix seasoning

    Layer in 9x13” pan:
    Seasoned refried beans
    Seasoned sour cream
    2 cups salsa
    2 cups shredded lettuce
    1 cup finely shredded cheddar
    ½ cup finely sliced green onions
    Sliced black olives


    Notes: 3/07 – Used half of the taco seasoning and regretted it…not enough flavor. Also used fresh salsa, not Pace. Skipped the green onions too. It was bland for me, but good for others. For the buffet, scooped dip into personal bowls instead of trying to dip chips right into the dip.
