    Food Processor White Bread

    Source of Recipe

    Unknown
Dissolve and let stand until soft, about 5 minutes:
    ¼ cup warm water
    1 Tbs. honey
    1 package yeast

In processor with steel blades, combine and whirl to mix:
    2-3/4 cups flour
    ¾ tsp. salt

    Stir into yeast mixture:
    2/3 cups warm milk
    1 Tbs. oil

With processor running, pour yeast mixture through feed tube in a steady stream. Adjust the amount poured so flour can absorb it. Process until dough forms a ball.

Turn off processor. Dough should feel barely sticky. If too soft, add some of the remaining ¼ cup flour, 1 Tbs. at a time until the dough feels soft and smooth.

Knead by processing for an additional 20 seconds.

Shape dough into a ball and flip in a greased bowl. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 45 minutes to an hour.

Punch dough and shape into a loaf. Put in greased loaf pan and let rise until doubled, about 30-45 minutes.

Bake at 375°F. for 35-40 minutes. Cool on rack.

Notes: 2/92—Shaped into double balls in muffin pan. Baked in about 12 minutes…chewy and good. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic salt.
