Mix thoroughly:
1 cup butter or margarine
½ cup confectioner’s sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Blend in:
2-1/4 cups flour
¼ tsp. salt
Mix in:
¾ cup finely chopped nuts
Chill dough. Roll into 1” balls.
Bake at 400°F. for 10 minutes, until set but not brown.
While warm, roll in confectioner’s sugar. Cool and then roll in confectioner’s sugar again.
Yield: 6 dozen
Notes: Use 1” scoop and then roll into a ball by hand. Yield 42
