Recipe Introduction
Use for simple icing on Boston Cream Pie or one 9" round cake.
Combine:
3 Tbs. cocoa
1 Tbs. oil
1 Tbs. margarine, melted
Stir in until crumbly:
¾ cup confectioner’s sugar
½ tsp. vanilla
Blend in:
2 tsp. very hot water
Beat in 3-4 tsp. additional hot water, 1 tsp. at a time to make a glaze of pouring consistency.
Pour over cake top while warm so that it drips over the edge.
