    Stir fry hot wok with 1 tsp. oil:
    1/2-3/4 pound flank steak, sliced thinly across grain

    Remove and set aside.

    Stir fry until crisp tender and then set aside:
    3 cups broccoli florets
    2 carrots, sliced

    Stir fry for 30 seconds:
    3 garlic cloves, pressed
    2-1/2” pieces ginger root, peeled and pressed

    Add and bring to boil:
    3 cups hot water
    3 seasoning packets from ramen packages
    Stir in:
    4 (3 ounce) packages Oriental flavor ramen noodles

    Bring to boil, reduce heat.
    Simmer for 3 minutes or until the noodles are tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, stirring occasionally.

    Return the beef and vegetables to the skillet. Cook just until it’s heated through, stirring frequently.


    Notes: have used granulated garlic and powdered ginger instead of fresh. This is enough for four people as an entrée. Decrease to two packages of ramen and 2 cups of water if you want small portions.
