    Stir fry with 1 Tbs. oil and garlic:
    1 pound asparagus, sliced on the diagonal with tips whole

    Remove from heat and keep warm.

    Stir fry for 30 seconds in 1 Tbs. oil:
    2 sliced chicken breasts for 5 thighs

    Add and cook for 3 minutes or until chicken is white:
    2/3 cup chicken broth
    1 Tbs. Mirin
    2 Tbs. shoyu

    Add asparagus and stir 1 minute.

    Stir in until thickened:
    2 tsp. cornstarch with 2 tsp. chicken broth

    Combine in small Pyrex bowl and sprinkle over:
    ¼ tsp. sugar
    ¼ tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbs. toasted sesame seeds

    Yield: 4 side-dish servings

    Add tofu! Be careful not to over cook breasts.
