"Meat On Bone"

Brown:
1 tsp. oil
1 pound country-style ribs or specially cut ribs for sweet and sour
Sprinkle with granulated garlic
Turn the heat down and simmer covered for 30 minutes or longer if pieces are thick. Stir periodically.
Drain all the grease.
Turn heat up to medium high and add:
½ cup sugar
½ cup vinegar
3 Tbs. shoyu
Stir until it’s thick and sticky.
Optional: Before serving, add 1:1 pineapple juice and brown sugar. Add pineapple chunks.
