Salisbury Steak

In large bowl, mix together:
1/3 cup French Onion Soup
1-1/2 pounds ground beef
½ cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg
¼ tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Shape into 6-8 flat, oval patties.
Grill patties then place in skillet.
In a small bowl, blend until smooth:
2 Tbs. flour
remaining soup plus one more can French Onion Soup
¼ cup catsup
½ cup water
2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. mustard powder
1 beef bouillion cube
Pour over meat in skillet.
Add one can of drained mushrooms
Cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve with mashed potatoes and frozen peas.
Notes: Tried it with ground turkey but the texture was on the mushy side.
