    • 3 lb round boneless rump roast
    • 1 Tbsp olive oil
    • 1 tsp cumin
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 1 1/4 tsp garlic salt
    • 2 cups water
    • 2 bouillon cubes


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 325 degrees F. Place beef roast in ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan.
    2. Brush oil over roast. In small bowl, combine cumin, pepper and garlic salt. Rub evenly over roast.
    3. Insert meat thermometer into center of roast. Pour beef broth into pan.
    4. Roast uncovered for 1.5 - 2.5 hours until thermometer registers 160 degrees F. Baste every 30 minutes.
