Recipe Introduction
You can substitute shrimp for the same points. Chicken would probably be 1 point more. Don't forget to add points for the rice.
List of Ingredients
- 1 pound crawfish tails
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1/4 cup minced celery
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup green bell pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Saute onions, bell pepper and garlic in a heavy skillet until done. Add flour, stirring to coat vegetables.
- Add tomato sauce and seasonings. Stir until well mixed. Add crawfish. (You may need to add 1-2 cups of water to get the right thickness). Cook for about 20 minutes until thickened (over low heat).
- Serve over rice.
