Dill Pickles

20 pickling cucumbers
2 pieces dill flowers
2 cloves garlic
1 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tbsp. pickling saltRecipe
Sterilized 2 pints jars and pack with well scrubbed,unpeeled cucumbers,which have been sliced in half lenghtwise.Tuck in each jar a sprig of dill,a whole clove of garlic split in half.
Mix water,vinegar and pickling salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil.Pour boiling hot over pickles and seal at once.
Make 2 pints.
Note:
Instead of pickling cucumber I have use bigger cucumber and cut in about 2 inch pieces.My family loves those as much as dill.
