Rhubard Butter Tarts

1 cup chopped rhubard
1/4 cup margarine,
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 egg,slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Scald rhubard with boiling water.Let stand 5 minutes,drain.Add margarine,sugar,salt and syrup to rhubard.Stir thoroughly until margarine is melted and sugar is dissolved.Add egg and vanilla.Fill tart shells 3/4 full.Bake at 425 deg. for 15 to 20 minutes.
