    Butterscotch Coffee Spice Bars

    1 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup oil
    1 egg
    1/2 cup hot water with 1 tsp.instant coffee
    1 1/2 cup flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 pkg. butterscotch morsel (12 oz)
    1/2 cup chopped nuts

    Recipe



    Mix sugar,oil and egg until creamy. Mix water and coffee and blend in.Stir dry ingredients together and gradually stir into the creamed mixture. Add butterscotch pieaces and nuts;mix well.
    Spread in a greased and floured 13x9x2 inch baking pan and bake at 350 deg. oven for 20-25 minutes. Cut into 3x1x1/2 inch bars when cool.
