    1/2 cup shortening
    1/2 cup margarine,softened
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup brown sugar,packed
    1 tsp vanilla
    3 eggs
    3 3/4 cups flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 cup mincemeat

    Recipe



    Cream shortening,margarine and sugars in bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Add mixture of dry ingredients,mix well. Stir in mincemeat. Drop by spoonsful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Yields 5 doz.
