    Pumpkin Nut Cake

    1/2 cup shortening
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 cup brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 cup pastry flour
    5 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 cup sour milk
    3/4 cup pumpkin
    2/3 cup nut

    Recipe

    Mix in the order given.Bake in a 9 x 9 inch pan at 350 deg. for 50 to 60 minutes.
