- 1 package Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
- 1 package Jiffy Yellow Cake Mix
- 1/8 cup butter
Instructions
- Prepare corn muffin mix according to package directions.
- In a separate bowl prepare cake mix according to package directions.
- Carefully fold the muffin mix into the cake mix til well blended.
- Heat a heavy iron skillet in a 425 degree oven. Remove skillet from oven very carefully and dot bottom of pan with butter and spread around sides and bottom of pan with butter as it melts, being careful not to burn yourself remember the skillet is straight out of the oven.
- Pour in desire amount of batter. Large amount makes a softer cornbread. Use only half the batter and you will have a crispy crusted cornbread.
- Bake according to package directions.
