Chili Burger Casserole

List of Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (15 oz) package corn bread mix
Instructions
- Saute onion and pepper in butter until tender. Add ground beef and cook only until red disappears. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder, salt and pepper.
- Turn mixture into a two quart casserole. Make corn bread mix according to directions on package. Spoon half of batter over chioli burger mixture use remaining to make corn sticks or muffins.
- Bake at 425 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
