    1 lb. Ground Beef
    1 Onion, Chopped
    - Garlic (Fresh or Minced)
    1 10 oz. Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1 Small Can Mushrooms (or 10-15 whole sliced fresh mushrooms)
    1/4 Cup Milk (Skim, 1%, Whole, Whatever)
    2-3 Tbsp. Sour Cream
    - Salt and Pepper (To Taste)
    2 Cups White Rice
    2 Cups Water (For Instant Rice)

    Beef Mixture: Brown grown beef with chopped onions and garlic. Once browned, add can of cream of mushroom soup, milk, sour cream, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes. If mixture is too thick, add a dash more of milk and/or sour cream.

    Mushrooms: If you are using canned, just add to the mixture above with the rest of the ingredients. If you prefer fresh, I like to saute mine first in a little garlic butter. Drain and add to the mixture. If you like a lot of mushrooms, make more. If you prefer less...make less. If you hate them -- eliminate altogether.

    Instant Rice: Cook as directed on box (boil water then add rice. Remove from heat and simmer 5 minutes covered.)

    TO SERVE:

    Place rice on dish and scoop mixture over the top. Goes great with warm buttered bread and a salad.
