Recipe Introduction
I won one of these cakes at a cake walk hosted by my school for halloween.

1 cake mix any flavor
1 can vanilla flavored cake icing or any white colored icing
2 clean egg shell halves
2 sugar cubes
thin black licorice
Recipe
First make a 9"x13" cake. When cool, cut the 2 upper corners of the cake, shown below, sort of rounded.
The curvature adds to the shape of the ghost's head and the corner pieces become the ghost's arms. You can also "carve" the body so it has a more ghost-like shape (bell-shaped?).

Place the arms on the body so it looks like the ghost is raising its arms, then frost. Use licorice to form a mouth, use egg shell halves for the eyes.
Place a sugar cube in each shell, the recipe calls for you to add alcohol to the egg shell and ignite. I chose not to try this and found out warmed brandy is a good source of fuel or place some icing in the shells and cut a candle in half and place the candle into the icing and light-much safer.
