Christmas Pecan Tarts

- 1/2 cup or 1 stick butter
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1-3 oz cream cheese
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat butter and cream cheese til smooth. Beat in flour. Press heaping teaspoon of dough in bottom and up the side of two greased mini muffin pans.
- For filling: Mix sugar, egg, butter and vanilla in bowl, add pecans. Fill cups 1/2 way up. Bake in oven for 20 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
