    Steak N Gravy

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
    • 1 cup saltine cracker crumbs
    • 1 cup evaporated milk
    • 1 small chopped onion (optional)
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/2 tsp pepper
    • flour
    • 1 large can (family size) of cream of mushroom soup
    • 1/2 can water
    • 1 package of onion, mushroom, or brown gravy mix (can use either or a combination)


    Instructions


    1. Mix beef, crackers, milk and onion together. Mix well and shape into loaf. Put in loaf pan and refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours.

    2. Take loaf out of refrigerator and slice. Dredge slices in flour.

    3. Fry slices in oil until brown on both sides. Place in greased baking dish.

    4. Mix soup, water and gravy mix and pour into greased casserole dish.

    5. Add meat, then pour remaining gravy overtop.

    6. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

    7. Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
