    Beer Chili

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 onions, finely chopped
    • 3 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1-1/2 lbs lean ground beef
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoons pepper
    • 2 tablespoons chili powder
    • 2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
    • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
    • 1 can-28 oz whole tomatoes in juice
    • 1 can-12 oz regular or non alcohol beer
    • 2 cans-15-16 oz each red kidney beans


    Instructions


    1. In a large saucepan sprayed with nonstick cooking spray, over medium heat, cook onions and garlic. Add beef; cook over high heat, stirring frequently. Stir in salt, pepper, chili powder, hot pepper, cumin, tomatoes and beer; bring to a boil; reduce heat; simmer for 2 hours. Remove from heat; stir in beans. Heat til beans are warmed.
