Chili Beans

List of Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 celery rib, chopped or sliced (optional)
- 2 teaspoons chili powder (or more)
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- dash of pepper
- 1 (16 oz) can stewed tomatoes (2 cups)
- 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 lb can kidney beans (undrained) (2 cups)
Instructions
- In skillet, brown ground beef, onion and celery. Drain excess rease. Add remaining ingredients, except beans
- Simmer covered, for 30 to 40 minutes. Add beans and heat thorough.
- Sauce can be refrigerated or frozen add beans after thawed or before reheating.
