    Peach Basil Iced Tea

    3 orange pekoe tea bags
    1 cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves
    4 cups water
    3 1/3 cups chilled peach nectar
    1/4 cup simple sugar Syrup

    Recipe



    Put tea bags and basil in a 1 qt glass or heat resistant bowl. Bring the
    water just to a boil and pour over the tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes.
    Strain into a pitcher. Cool and chill covered until cold. Stir in the
    peach nectar and syrup. Serve over ice in tall glasses.
